Can you help!!

My son’s grandfather passed away on 10/10/16.  His name is Vern Gilmore Kippen, Service number 1899508 and served from Military Service – January 29, 1960 – November 7, 1963.

We know he served on the Princeton during his service, but no details with the exception he was hurt badly falling from scaffolding in dry dock.  Can you give any more details?

He will be buried at the Great Lakes National Cemetery next Monday November 21, 2016.

We would sure appreciate any details you can provide.  Thanks and thank you for your service to our country.

Very truly,Keith.
