I served aboard the Princeton from 1960 to 1962 and was re-assigned just after the Westpac cruise returned to port. I left the Princeton an HM3 and had been assigned to the medical dept. I even got to assist with the overhaul and bunk on the personnel ship while doing it. I remained in medicine for a total of 52 years, anesthesia . We have 2 grown children, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandkids. Life is GOOD and I have mostly fond memories of my time in the Navy and of course the Mighty Princeton.
